What an affiliate link means
If a player follows an eligible link and completes a purchase, Game Deal Breakers may receive a commission from the retailer. This should not add to the player’s price.

Game Deal Breakers is being built to earn revenue through retailer affiliate programs while keeping the comparison experience useful and clearly labeled.
GamersGate, GameBillet, Gamesplanet, IndieGala, and Amazon Associates are active affiliate relationships. Eligible links may earn Game Deal Breakers a commission. Most other retailer links in this public beta are not yet affiliate links.
What it does not mean
A commission does not buy an unlabeled ranking, a positive review, or a recommendation. Deal selection remains guided by the methodology published on this site.
Sponsored placements
Any future paid placement, exclusive promotion, or sponsored feature will be identified clearly enough that a visitor can distinguish it from an independently selected deal.
Steam and non-affiliate stores
Important stores may still be included when no affiliate relationship exists. Completeness and player usefulness matter more than limiting the site to commission-paying retailers.
